The Co-Creator of Call of Duty, Has Died in a Los Angeles Car Crash
Vince Zampella, who helped create the immensely successful video game Call of Duty, has died in a traffic collision in California aged 55.
His passing was confirmed by Electronic Arts, the publisher that controls Respawn Entertainment, the development studio he co-founded.
The renowned game designer died after his car crashed and caught fire on a freeway in the Los Angeles area on Sunday morning, as reported by.
"We are facing an unimaginable loss, and we stand with Vince's family, those closest to him, and all those touched by his creative vision," a spokesperson for Electronic Arts stated.
